Accelerator Centre Waterloo: From No Feedback System to Benchmark-Excellent in One Quarter
In Q4 2025, Adlius designed and implemented a founder feedback system for the Accelerator Centre Waterloo, achieving a 44% survey response rate across 603 mentorship meetings, rated Excellent by SurveyMonkey industry benchmarks. Before the engagement, the organisation had no reliable, scalable way to capture founder feedback on its mentorship programme.
The Situation
The Accelerator Centre, one of Canada’s leading startup incubators, runs hundreds of mentorship meetings every quarter. The team knew the programme mattered. What they could not reliably see was how it was landing: one-off surveys produced inconsistent data the team could not act on, and there was no scalable system connecting individual mentorship meetings to programme decisions.
What Adlius Did
Adlius applied the Insight-2-Action approach to the feedback problem itself: understanding from founders and mentors why existing surveys went unanswered, redesigning the capture moment around how founders actually work, and implementing a measurement system the AC team could run without us.
The Results
A 44% response rate is rated Excellent against SurveyMonkey’s industry benchmarks, and unlike a one-off survey spike, it was produced by a repeatable system across an entire quarter of real programme activity.
What the Client Said
Adlius consistently encouraged us to view challenges through multiple lenses, leading to deeper, more strategic thinking.
Why It Transfers
The Accelerator Centre did not have a survey problem. It had a demand-decoding problem wearing a survey costume: nobody had established what founders would actually answer, when, or why. That is Phase 1 of Insight-2-Action applied to an internal process rather than a commercial offer, and it is the same move Adlius makes when a service business cannot work out why its proposals stopped converting.
More Case Studies Are in Progress
Adlius publishes case studies only with client permission and verified numbers, which makes the library grow slower than a marketing department would like, and makes every entry in it dependable. If you want to hear results relevant to your specific situation before a written case study exists, ask on the call; we can often share more in conversation than in print.
